Barbecue King was founded by Peterborough resident, Rob Carleton,  in 2024 with a clear mission: to help homeowners enjoy grilling season without the hassle of deep cleaning their grills. Rob is a hockey enthusiast, who has coached youth hockey in Peterborough for over 10 years and he is also the President of On The Pond! Canada, a hockey tournament company that organizes and runs multiple youth and adult hockey tournaments throughout the winter months.  Including the North American Cup, the biggest pond hockey tournament in Canada which is run in Muskoka, ON.
